Broadvision World School ethos genesis is about real life experiences of an individual whom I know very closely and others like him who would have also undergone similar life changing experiences whom I don’t know personally.
This real- life character had several family businesses which in today’s day and age is difficult to comprehend and understand. The Family had Flour mills/Rice mills business, Firewood depot, large provisional stores in central Bangalore, Animal husbandry. He successfully developed and managed the family Agricultural lands, literally becoming a farmer plowing the fields and successfully harvesting high yielding crops, followed suit with a confectionery manufacturing business, baking different types of biscuits. He then successfully transitioned to Electronic hardware business, manufacturing and supplying to the Defense Establishments and large corporate houses.
He scaled an IT ERP /CRM training and consulting business with more than 20 branches in the whole country and overseas, such eventful and varied has been his entrepreneurial journey.He is now a very successful builder who constructs multiple residential complexes. He stayed the course with all his share of success and failures, since he has the innate ability to widen his gaze, a “Broadvision ”, his willingness to acquire and attain multidimensional skill sets to be successful in his various entrepreneurial ventures. He owes his success to the opportunities he seized in all his business ventures. This person is none other but my Father. I have grown with his experiences and also sometimes being part of them.
Students at “Broadvision World School” would be provided with plethora of opportunities in most spheres (wider gaze) of their learning journey be it Academics, Sports, Fine Arts,Communication, Co-Scholastic activities. They would be encouraged to acquire multidimensional Skillsets through the learning tenets of Explore, Engage, Learn (Experiential).
To achieve the above stated objectives The School has put up the requisite infrastructure, almost in a about 2acre campus in the heart of Hennur township with D-Mart as landmark reference. It has easy access to Parents/Students in the neighborhood, who wish to walk or others who wish to avail the drop services on vehicles two / four wheelers. The School building comprises Administrative & Learning spaces with ample area dedicated to Co-Scholastic activities.
Well trained and experienced teachers help/support students in all their learning spheres. Security both Emotional and Physical of all our Students and Staff is paramount to us. Prof Mohd. Raffic has done his B.Sc from Bangalore University and M. Sc from Karnataka University Dharwad . He served as lecturer in the Department of Mathematics I.I.T Bangalore. He then moved to PESIT in the year 2001 as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and then moved on to Sambhram Institution in the year 2006 as Associate Professor and H.O.D Mathematics in 2012. He is a recipient of awards such as best teacher also he has undergone training at Wipro Mission 10X Administrative training for HODs. He has attended many Faculty Development Programs as well.
As HOD of Mathematics he has introduced many support programs for weak students leading to excellent results in Mathematics subjects and under his able guidance achieved higher pass percentage for his department compared to all engineering subjects. He is the Principal Of Sambaram PU College.
Dr. K. Balaveera Reddy’s career spanning four and half decades, has held leadership positions in academia and administration, during which substantial contributions to the development of quality of technical education specifically and education in general has been made. Bridging thoughts with action.
Dr. Reddy earned his Post-graduation from IIT, Kharagpur and Doctorate from IIT, Madras. Former Director of Technical Education, Karnataka, Former VC of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and at present Chairman, Board of Governors, NITK.
Dr. Reddy has established world class infrastructural facilities and has helped to realize satellite-based education, e‐learning, online examination, industry‐university interaction, increased research base and superior training programs for teachers creating an internationally acclaimed quality brand image for Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and its affiliated colleges.
As recognition of above efforts, among several awards; fellowships Dr. Reddy has received, the notable ones are: Karnataka Rajyotsava award 2008, Fellow of World Academy of Productivity Science (Canada), 2006 Honorary Fellowship of Indian Society for Technical Education 2006, Aryabhatta award 2002 Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini award 1999, M Visvesvaraya Technical award 1997.
Dr. Reddy’s interest and passion lies in promoting the use of technology in the Knowledge Era, online education and examination, increasing industry, university and institute participation, spreading of quality education to semi-urban and rural areas, improving the quality of teachers with funded research and superior training drawn from India and abroad, continuous innovation in strategies for learning, teaching and research.
Towards this goal, Dr. Reddy relentlessly pursues the Government, Academia, Industry and students and brings about changes to enhance professional competence of every stakeholder and improve efficacy of Education Institutions with five major ethos, the culture of Excellence, Innovation, Quality,Flexibility and Sustainability.
Mr. Om Prakash 1981 batch IPS Officer, Post Graduate in Geology (Gold medal) from BHU served the Police force for 36 years & and went on to head the police force of the state of Karnataka in the capacity of Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG&IGP;). He superannuated from service in 2017.
During his tenure as an IPS officer he served the state in various capacities in various sensitive areas and handled all challenges effectively & successfully. The Officer held the post of Commissioner for the transport & Chairman, State transport Authority & Streamlined the functioning of Department & brought many reforms by which public got relief & benefitted especially by curbing the activities of middlemen in RTO Offices & facilitated the public in getting their work done quickly & smoothly. Apart from the Police department he worked in transport, Fire services, home guards, Civil Defense, SDRF etc. while working in Fire department as DIG & later on as DG Fire & emergency services, a lot of development of Fire department took place. New Fire stations were opened in a large number, new technology Fire extinguishers were introduced, Two-wheeler Fire extinguisher units were established to reach quickly in narrow lanes.
Such was his quest to keep himself abreast with latest police practices that he underwent midterm career training programs by IIM Ahmedabad & London business school.
